Thanks for visiting KMG Consultation website! KMG Consultation is a small business dedicated to providing quality workshops, support, and consultation for congregations, those preparing for religious life and those involved in ministry.
I provide workshops on topics such as healthy boundaries, conflict resolution, healthy sexuality and celibacy, and ministry from abundance. I also provide small group facilitation, psychological evaluation for candidates, and consultations to programs about difficult situations.
My name is Kathy Galleher and I am a clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience in teaching and psychotherapy. From 1998-2006 I was a staff psychotherapist at the St. Luke Institute, which is a residential psychological treatment center serving priests, nuns, and brothers.
In 2006 I left St. Luke to work in preventative mental health and address the particular needs of those in religious life and ministry. I offer workshops and consultation and facilitation tailored to the needs of your congregation, ministry, or diocese, on topics such as self care, healthy boundaries, conflict management, and sexual integration.
Since 2006 I have worked with a number of men’s and women’s congregations, seminaries, and formation programs. I also direct the 4 year Program for Healthy Sexuality and Intimacy in Consecrated Life for the Washington Area Formation Network and in Chicago. In addition I have been invited to present to the Religious Formation Conference, the National Religious Vocations Conference, the Theological College at Catholic University, the Catholic Volunteer Services, JVC, the LCWR, the Virginia Theological Seminary, Franciscan Mission Services, and many groups of lay ministers and religious congregations.
